A friend told me recently that Siamese apple faced original cats are less prone to cause allergies. Is this true?

I would agree with the last commenter. My daughter came to visit while my Applehead Siamese was still a little kitten and she was severely allergic. We've always had cross breeds and my daughter was pretty good with them. I've never seen her so bad with a cat before.

Hi there,

I am not sure about this. I would have thougth the opposite, as pure-breeds tend to carry more allergenic properties than the moggies. We have a Siamese ad Burmese here and people who come to the house have to take anti-histamines prior to the visit and this was never the case with the ordinary cats.o
HOpe this helps.

Kind regards,

Beatrice from Ireland.
