big boy

my cat is wheezing a few times a day and it can be quite intense. The contractions come right up from the abdomen - no hairballs are ever thrown up. Is there a home remedy to try before a costly vet visit?

Asthma
by: Anonymous

Our female Siamese started doing this at almost 10 years old. Took her to the vet and it turned out she has asthma. Which is common. She now takes a dose of Flovent (inhaler) everyday and no more problems.

take him to the vet A.S.A.P.
by: Alex

My 15 year old cat did the same. My vet said that
a common natural death for a siamese is heart failure causing water around the heart and lungs.
If unchecked it will drown and it will suffer. It is trying to get air. We caught it just in time so he wouldn't suffer.
We are entrusted to take care of our little beasties. Take it to the vet.
