Oskar! the biter,,
by: Anonymous

Hi, I have a male (as yet unneutered seal point)whose name is Oskar!( lol, yep, with the exclamation point, its even on hes papers0 who is now 9 months old- he started biting while playing, myself and my daughter. I taught him the 'NO' word, basically said to him in a rough growly voice 'no biting', and then just totally ignored him, lolloll he hates that! now he occasionally bites when playing, especially my daughter,, just ignore your cat, they absolurely hate being ignored.
last night Oskar! jumped on the couch, bit (not hard) my daughter on the shoulder, I growled at him, lolol hahah should have seen his reaction,, he looked 'embarrassed and cranky' at getting caught but he didnt do it anymore and played nicely with her.
good luck!

Biting
by: Bek (Australia)

My Squire Pudda used to (occasionally still) bite. Usually when he was in a grump or trying to convey he was un happy about something. I discovered a little flick on the very tip of his ear is sufficient enough to discourage this. haha

Both my kittens were nibblers. I just say no ,no just like I do to my 12 month old daughter who does the same ! They all grew out of it. Every once in a while I get a nibble. lol
