I have two male cats that are believed to be Siamese mixes. One is solid black with the same build as a Siamese and a pointy little triangle head. The other is solid gray with the build of a Siamese and ears that look Siamese but has a little more rounded face. The little black one is 2 1/2 years old and is only 6.5-7 lbs. He is more of a lap cat who will come up and sleep in my lap and cuddle. The gray one is about 8-9 months old and already 10 lbs. He likes to be pet but will not sit in my lap at all nor let me cuddle him like I do with the black one. Is this because he's still young and restless or will he always be this way? I know he's still a kitten and it may too early to tell, but I'm wondering if kittens who typically do not like to cuddle when they're young will become more cuddly when they get older or if they typically carry that trait to adulthood.
