I have a 4 year old, 7lb liliac point who is the sweetest little girl. Does everything right and loves everyone. We wonder if she is lonely when we leave for short periods of time and our considering getting another Siamese kitten. Prior to our departure she follows us around and cries. She gets lots of attention when we are home. Wondering if she will be jealous and if anyone has suggestions about the adjustment period.

Getting another Siamese
by: Lynn

From my experience with female Siamese, yes they get very jealous. Siamese develop close bonds to their humans. Getting another one should be fine too. It seems that getting an opposite sex kitten should be the easiest to make adjustments to though cats can and will adapt to any situation.

Here is my page on introducing a new cat.

Good luck and let me know what you decide.
