Fur pulling

My Siamese is about 11 years old. About 3 months ago she started pulling gobs of fur out of one side of her. What the heck is going on?? She is eating/pooping fine, still playing like a mad fool. Nothing different about her food or eating habits.

Hi there, does your cats skin twitch before he pulls it out? Could be rolling skin syndrome which is very common in Siams. It can also be stress related, so evaluate whether there have been any changes to his life that may have caused him to stress. If you haven't treated for fleas do so as it could be flea allergy, and last but by no means least, is your kitty drinking anymore that usual? If so please take him along to see a vet ASAP. My boy pulled his hair out for 5 years, he did it along both sides of his back either side of his spine. I feel for you as it looks very disturbing. You may have to bite the bullet and realise this may be a part of who he is from now on, especially if he has developed this as a habit. Hope this helps :)
