Hi
I have just got a Caramel Blue siamese.
He keeps getting mucky eyes (slight discharge) but the person who sold him to me ( a breeder) said its normal and to just clean his eyes daily.

Is this normal ?

Thanks Heidi

It it's a bit of a clear discharge, almost like tears, it's probably nothing. If it's more mucous-like, it should be checked by a veterinarian. He may need some antibiotic eye drops.

My Rosabella is a Chocolate or Seal Point Siamese.I have been told different things from different people. Not all the time but sometimes she gets yucky eyes.More like sleep eyes than mucus.Maybe your kitten has a little cold or allergies. My grandmothers Siamese was an Old Fashioned Traditional and he did not.I think it is an individual like us!
