What level of sight deviation does a Siamese cat with crossed-eyes have? I found Adult Siamese staying on my porch, unable to locate an owner, I took him as our 4th cat. He is cross-eyed,wondering how well he sees? Thanks
Thank you for the information on Siamese crossed eyes. I do think he has depth preception problem but all is well, anyway. Thanks again

Hi there,
I don't think it makes any difference to their perception or field of vision or how they see the world if they are cross-eyed. It is a characteristic, that is all. Probably just a minor genetic variation, but then again I am not a geneticist or a veterinarian. Our cat Pandy's eyes are a bit cross-eyed and believe you me, there is nothing wrong with her field of vision, she is a real stalker and hunter!!

Hi !NEW by: angelina diantonio
My male Romeo is a bit cross eyed.I can tell if I put certain foods down he cannot see them. Anything lite in color gives him a problem. Other than that he gets around great and is my lovey dovey!!!! Love both my cats to bits!!!

Cats 101NEW by: My2wins
What a coincidence! Just an hour ago I watched a movie on YouTube about this. Search for "Cats 101 Siamese"
It said that cross eyed Siamese cats have 1) poor depth perception and 2) limited peripheral vision.
My Siamese has very minor cross eyed. We have never noticed any issues whatsoever. The video said that the more crossed the eyes are will mean the poorer the vision might be.
