Keeping Latte out of my bedroom

Squirrel!

Squirrel!

My Siamese cat Latte has slept with me since birth (she's 7). I now have an allergy to cats (I have 3) that I can live with during the day, but kills my sinuses at night. I'm not getting any sleep and will have to retrain her to sleep somewhere else (we have plenty of other beds and people for her to choose from).

I know it's going to be a long and loud transition. Any ideas how to do this?

Thanks,
Latte's Meowmy

How I envy you that you have been able to sleep with your beauty all these years, my husband wouldn't have my Siamese in the bedroom, never mind on our bed under any circumstances, and of course, if he weren't here, like you, my Siamese would be in my bed!

You will need to be firm and let her sleep in a room on her own with water and food on a nice soft comfortable bed, not unlike yours and what she has been used to. She will soon adapt, but you are now allergic to cat dander and this can be quite serious.
I love the flat ears looking at the squirrel!

Hope this helps.
