My 6 month old siamese cat loves to lick and bite our fingers, nose and eyes, especially in the wee hours of the morning. Is he showing affection or is he lacking something in his diet? Any comments or suggestion?
My 7Th month old kittens teeth on everything.I also have a 7 month old daughter who thinks my nose and chin are great to teeth on ! Between all three babies all toes , noses and chins are getting gnawed on !!!! They will calm down before you know it !

Well, no, there is nothing wrong in his diet. He is showing affection and trying to get your attention. He is also still very playful at only six months. I had one that would start trying to wake me up about 30 min before I would get up, every morning... and would do this on weekends too. The best thing is to just ignore him, completely if this is a habit you want to break. Punishing doesn't work. But after while, if you do not reinforce the behavior, he will stop.

hes telling you "time to get up; make some coffee,pay attention to ME" usually at 5am..
