Mohawk gone wild

by Teri
(Burlington,Wa)

Is it normal for my 5 month old female to have gone into her first heat? She sits at the door and yowls. Acts like any other cat in heat but she is weird and young so I don't know for sure. We want to get her fixed but not if she is in heat. Also would she be considered a torti point?

your precious girl

I am so sorry that I overlooked your question.
Yes it is normal for a five month old kitten to go into heat, normally it occurs at six months. It is terrible that a cat who is still a kitten can have kittens of their own.

She is soooo cute. She does look like a Tortie point which is quiet rare in Siamese.

Let me know how she is doing.

Lynn
