My Abigail

My sister gave me Abby for a Christmas present. Now I know that it is risky giving a pet for Christmas, but my very first cat Magdalen - ie Maggie - had just died and I was very upset and guilt ridden (she was a cancer survivor and was elderly when she passed, still I feel I could have done more).

At first I did not care what breed Abby was - her mother was feral and kept having her litters in a friend's garage - but I soon noticed Abby was different. While Maggie was a brindle tabby, Abby was white with dark markings on her paws and ears and she talked - a lot!!! I fiancee and I had no clue what she was until I happened to discover how she looked a lot like a Siamese. When we took her to the vet for the first time, our vet pinged it - she was part lilac point Siamese. We guessed that her mom hooked up with a Siamese purebred because Abby looks purebred herself.

She fits being a Siamese to a T. She is very affectionate and talkative. She is also very long and can leap long distances. thanks to Abby (after Maggie's passing) Carl and I feel like we are truly a family again.
