My cat is runsaway all the time

My aunt gave me a siamese cat, he used to live with his mother and a sister outdoors , he is 3/4 months old. But he's always nervous and whenever you try to grab him he meows really loud and runs away. i've read that they are really affective but he doesn't seem to be like that, does he will always be like that?

My Aunt recues cats and she gave me great advice.Always make sure they have plenty of fresh food and water.Go about your business.Talk to the kitty when you see them.Then let the kitty come to you.It may take a month or so.Leave the cat to get used to the new atmosphere and surroundings.You will all blend as a family soon.Trust me.My kittens did the same thing at first.They are over a year now and still hide from company.
