new kitten

I have a new 12 week old boy kitten that i brought home 2 days ago, i also have a 2yr old tonkinese boy. Since the kitten has been here all he has done is spit and growl at everything that moves especially my tonk. He also cries constantly day and night, what can I do. I have tried seperating them and leaving them in a room together but nothing is working.
