new siamese owner of a rescue cat

I was wondering....i was given a cat and I think she is scared out of her mind. She wont eat or come out from under the couch. what can i do to help her? Also, hoe do i train her to use the litter box, or will she do that on her own?

Patience in one word. When I rehomed my male siamese he was a year old and it took around 3 weeks before he would come out. Just give him time and he will come round when he feels ready. x

Hi ! I rescue cats .

Leave her food and water as well as the litter box.Leave her be she will come out when she is ready.Try not to have load noise or any children chasing her.The cat will adjust just fine with patience and love.She should do fine with the litter box.How old is she ?
