Night meowing

We have a 1 year old siamese and she is beautiful. the problem we are having is that in the night she will start meowing and walks over my husbands head, touches is face.

We have tried to keep her out of the bedroom when she starts, but she keeps on meowing.

What can we do, as my husband is not getting much sleep and getting very tried and fed up of the constant noise.

I have a spayed female and she meows every night. She used to go into the shower and meow, now it is anywhere. I chalked it up to her being Siamese and therefore very vocal. I am used to it; I like to think she is singing. Good luck making peace with your singing Siamese.

Is your cat spayed? If you go back, you will see the saga of Jasmine, who was dumped, whom I fostered and was screaming 24/7. Once she was spayed and no longer in constant heat, she became such a good (and quiet!!) little lady, that she has become a permanent member of my family.

If she's not spayed, do it now. When Jazzy was spayed, it was discovered that she had a severely infected uterus (pyometra) and had it ruptured, it could have killed her.

My kittens did this also.I shut the bedroom door.They cried and scratched for a while.I told them daddy needed his sleep for work.After a week they got the message.They would sleep outside the door and wait for us to get up.The crying stopped.Now they sleep with us and are on our schedule.I made them sleep out of the bedroom for like 4 months.I have a baby also and they were jumping in the crib.Now they sleep in their cat house in my bedroom and do not try to jump in the crib anymore.If you only have one cat make a little spot in the hallway or other rooms for the cat with a pillow,bed whatever and a couple toys to keep them occupied.It is going to take a little patience.Cats are very intelligent she will learn.
