No Purring!

I have a 7-year-old seal point and a 7-year-old firepoint and a big white moggie. All are females and have been neutered. Both my moggie - Lilly and my firepoint - Caura purr when they are contented and happy. However my sealpoint - Saffie never purrs. Is this normal or does it mean that she is not happy and contented like my other two? Also she likes to bite me and hold on. This can be quite sore but I am now thinking this might be a "love bite" as I am the only one she does it to. After she has bitten and held me she doesn't run away she just goes back to sleep. Is this normal behaviour? Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance

No Purring
by: Beatrice

Hi there,

My chnocolate Point Pandy is exactly the same, no purring, just nipping and running away and smelling my fingers to see what food is on offer. I don't mind, I don't think that it really matters, it's just her way.

Beatrice from Ireland.
