Partner potential compatibilty for half Siamese?

Lola (4) has recently lost her half Siamese litter mate sister, Zsa ZSa. I'm very sad but she appears to be carrying on as normal. Zsa Zsa liked to cuddle up with me & her sister, but Lola could only take so much, & would then leave, or spit & leave. They played alot together (use catflap freely)& I would love to get another cat or kitten, preferably part Oriental. I know it can go badly wrong & I'm seeking advice on what age/gender/breed might be most compatible with Lola. Lola is attached to me but not really connected. She is excited (her tail tauntly flagged up), not calmed, when I stroke her & won't stay long in my lap. Sometimes she sleeps at the end of my bed, sometimes not. I've just heard of a pair of Siamese, her age, needing rehoming. Could Lola handle two, with tactful introductions? Would a kitten, or pair of kittens be better?

Lost pet

I have always been a believer that cats pick us ! When I found my first babies I looked around the Humane Society at hundreds of cats. They had a special needs section and I walked around and saw these two battered , scrawny cats . They were petrified and in corners. Their eyes looked at me and I knew !!!! Took alot in the beginning for them to trust me . After a few months we were good ! We were best friends for 11 years !! They saved me through a million times over. After losing them I went to petfinder.com . I searched for months !!!!! When I saw the eyes and faces of my Siamese kitties I knew. I did not think I could get them because they were far away . We made it happen . I thought I was getting 2 girls. Then one day these two little balls popped out of one . I have a brother and sister. Great personalities ! We are very happy. More re compatability

My quest is to attempt to find out what would suit Lola, not just me. There seems to be a general consensus that males are more laid back & therefore might integrate with her better. I have rung around & visited several cat sanctuaries & the only conclusion I've reached, is that people's opinions & experiences seem to be contradictory e.g. get a kitten/don't get a kitten, give Lola time to grieve/get another one quick, Siamese like Siamese/doesn't matter. At the end of the day, I think it all boils down to personality compatability & apart from careful introductions (another area full of conflicting advice), I'll just have take a chance & hope we end up with a harmonious household!

Lost pet

I lost one of my Persian babies 5 months ago . Her sister was so lonely she passed 3 months later . Lola needs company !!!! Two kittens sound wonderful ! So many cats in need !!!!! I just rescued two Siamese ( brother & sister ) from a kill shelter in Virginia ! Best personalities ! So happy !!!!! Keep us posted ! Post pictures also !!!!

Get her a playmate fast . I lost one sister and the other sister did not make it 3 months after ! So sad without her sister ! I think she would love two new ones !!!!!!!
