Pictures! Pt 2 of--> What Do I Do?: Siamese Kitten Cries When I'm Not Home

Here are pictures of my sweet little kitten, Mika. We plan to buy her more toys and we made her a little bed (I read somewhere that if you leave a warm water bottle in the bed, it can help, so I will try that too!)

ALSO: does anybody have any guess as to whether she will keep her longish fur or not? She looks like an applehead siamese to me, but I'm not a siamese expert... Is it possible she could be a wedgehead?

So, after googling "long haired siamese kitten" over and over, I think I have determined that Mika is an Applehead Balinese-- which is basically just a genetic mutation within the Siamese gene. There are such things as Balinese pure breed--a kitten born of two Balinese parents-- BUT you can also get a Balinese in a litter of purebred Siamese. SO, I think that's what's going on. What do you all think?

Your kitten is lovely. She/He look to me like he is very happy and content. Looking at the photos he looks so layed back you would think you have had him forever. He looks Siamese to me. My Siamese are short haired but I have seen long hair Siamese. I would think he will stay fluffy and cute as he or she grows up.

I have had Persians and Siamese.She looks like a combo of both.Make sure you keep up with a baby kitten brush so she does not matt.She is stunning.Keep us posted with stories and pictures.Go to a baby store and see what has the mothers heart beating.A stuffed animal or something with the heart beating will soothe her.
