We have a classic two year old female siamese and are wondering if it would be possible to get another cat (non siamese, female 8 months old). What are the chances they would be compatible ?
It sounds as if you have met this other kitten.Have you introduced the two?Let them play and see how much they enjoy each other first.May or may not be a fit.

Share and be happyNEW by: Beatrice
Dear Tony,
I have a 1.5 year old Chocolate Siamese cat and when she arrived she had to share the house with a very Alpha male Lilac Burmese aged 11 years. There were terrible fights initially, but now they are as happy as clams. I feel that two females would be quite compatible, but cats are real survivors and as long as there is plenty of food in the trough and they are warm, they will accommodate each other.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Beatrice from Ireland.

I think pretty much any cats can be compatable, as long as you introduce them correctly. There's always a chance they may not end up being best friends but they should, at the very least, tolerate each other.
