Siamese fur turning gray.

by Bonnie
(Rochester, NY USA)

My Siamese cat Zoi has kidney failure and is being given regular sub dermal injections of Saline by directions of our vet. We also add a subliment to her food that blocks phosphorus absorbtion. Her treatment was tough going at first but we have seemed to settle into a comfortable schedule and she is at her normal weight. This has been going on for about six months. Just this weekend we have noticed that the fur on her body is turning gray. She is a seal point variety and this seems to have happened over night. I plan on calling our vet on Monday, but I was just curious if anyone knows anything about a change as sudden as this? Zoi is about 10 years old.

Thanks!

Bonnie
