Siamese mix behavior

She used to show me affection. Now she doesn't and when I try to love on her she pushes me away. Is it because she had kittens and she's still got one left pending adoption or has she turned from me? I really miss her and her personality she used to have. I'd love that closeness back.

Grief NEW
by: angelina diantonio

Any mother who loses her children will mourn. Think about any pregnancy, childbirth and nursing. Women that do not have children have the same nurturing love of a niece or nephew, animals or friends children. I cannot imagine the pain of having your babies taken from you.I just watched Animal Planet the other nite.An elephant had a still born baby.It was so sad.The whole group of elephants cried and buried the baby.It was heartbreaking.Animals have the same emotions and feelings as people.Animals feel pain and heartbreak just like all of us.Your cat needs extra love.Talk to her and comfort her through her grief.Did you think about keeping one of the kittens?Maybe getting them fixed when the time comes.Maybe your cat cannot emotionally lose her kittens every litter.

Mix Behaviour NEW
by: Beatrice

Hard to know what's going on here. I supsect she is sad that her kittens have left the nest and she has only one left. They do feel emotion, not on the same scale as us humans, but nevertheless, she must miss her kitties. Give her time, she will get over it. Give her all the love you can in the meantime, and so she feels secure.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Beatrice from Ireland.
