I agree with what you say. My mother would like at least one 'human' grandchild from me one day instead of kittens! *grins* And it's too true that children need to be protected, especially now these days. I have a large family and I am the oldest of five, and am an aunt of three, so I know the kind of responsibility that comes with small ones. Good luck with your own kittens and children if you have any. May you always find joy in both.

Homes NEW
by: Ashley Carpenter

Three of the kittens have homes while the other two may or may not have owners. My father arranged a home for one of the girls but he needs to get back up with the person to make sure Silver still goes to the person in question. A friend of mine is looking into finding a home for Bert. Thank you so much for your compliments on my kittens. It makes me happy that there are still people who love cats as much as I do.

Bert NEW

Bert is the odd one out isn't he? It might be my computer but I can't tell his eye color they look green. I think somewhere in the cat family, who knows how far back, was not a Siamese.I think there might have been a Tonkinese. They have green or greenish blue eyes. Or he may be showing a black gene. There are black Siamese cats. It happens sometimes even with people who think they have 100% Siamese parents and at times a little surprise package will turn up in a litter of perfect little Siamese kittens. Even new breeds start that way. He is no doubt mostly Siamese but that gene for some reason became dominate with him. I bet he has the intelligence and all the attributes of his mother. We once had a Siamese mix but to look at her you would swear she was 100%. The shocking thing was her mother was a calico cat. All of her babies were perfect little Siamese--looking anyway.

No one knows for certain just what they will get when they breed cats. Even professionals will sometimes have one in a litter that for some reason is "different." And I've found that the little "black sheep" are usually a blessing in disguise.
