HI there,

With time she will forget but in the meantime you must secure her trust and she will eventually trust and love you the way she did your gran.

Best of luck,

Tough Love Talk

look at it from her perspective, and the answers might become clear to you.

is she in a smoke-free home for one thing, or is she sufficating from lack of fresh air?

Are there kids or other animals that might be tormenting her, even when you're not looking?

Is there anything scary in the house like loud machinery or unpredictable noise?

Does she have a place she can hide and get out of harms way like a kitty condo where she can feel safe from atop a perch?

In general you need to know that you now have a small lion living in your home. When threatened and insecure she will revert back to her wild nature. When calm and secure and non-threatened, she will become the delight of your life.

Your role is to give her a calm, secure and non-threatening environment.

If you can't do that, PLEASE find kitty a loving home with an experienced Siamese owner. There are thousands of us who would jump at the chance to caretake such a wonderful creature.

Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your Gran

The cat just misses your gran. She does not understand you gran passed away and is sad to be away from her. She must think you are keeping her from your gran. She will come around in time and you will be best friends.
