Hi there,

Your cat is old, so his joints are no longer as supple as they used to be and like us when we will get old, our poor bones will creak. You could ask your vet for something the equivalent of cod liver oil to lubricate the joints or chondroitin, make sure he gets plenty of oily fish in his diet as that will help and maybe some cream to rub on his joints if they are inflamed.

I don't know what else to suggest.

With best wishes,

Beatrice from Wicklow in Ireland.

Vet has medicine

My Vet gave me this stuff to sprinkle on my senior cat's food.

The best thing to do is to get steps for pets so that he won't have to jump as much..that will help.
