Flame point kitties

by Marina
(Canada )

My little cat Steve is a flame point and when he uses the litter box he appears to be in pain because he constantly hisses and growls after. What can I do to help him if he is in pain?

How old do you think my Lynx-Point-Siamese cat is?

by Emily
(Brownsburg-Chatham, QC, CA)

My Lynx-Point-Siamese Cat has had allot of different homes. I got her from my brother's ex girlfriend. I believe she is around 10 years old.. But she is de-clawed
(front & back). She is somewhat of a calico. She's SUPER affectionate.

Siamese mix behavior

by Kate
(Texas)

She used to show me affection. Now she doesn't and when I try to love on her she pushes me away. Is it because she had kittens and she's still got one left pending adoption or has she turned from me? I really miss her and her personality she used to have. I'd love that closeness back.

Is My Cat Half Siamese?

by Kathy Joyce
(London, UNITED KINGDOM)

Crystal

Crystal

I have a pure long haired white cat with stunning blue eyes. We got her as a rescue cat about 12 years ago, so don't know what breed she is. I often wonder if she could be half siamese as she has a loud mieow, and has the strange habit of "talking" to a small stuffed toy we gave her. It's like a howling sound as if she is talking to one of her babies. As you can see from the photo she is very pretty.

Grey Sticky Stool!

by Leena
(North Carolina)

Hi, I recently rescued a siamese kitten. He is only about 8-10 weeks old. He was extremely thin, and probably malnourished. His stool is a dark gray color, and feels like clay. I am thinking that he was probably eating litter or something. I have been feeding him homemade cat food and he now is using natural cat litter. He still is pooping dark gray though. Is there any suggestions on medication, enemas, etc etc that i can do? I have been feeding him natural pumpkin (since that gives him fiber & softens the stool). He is very playful, and alert. He doesnt know he is sick, and he has a big appetite I just dont want him to die or anything. He's my baby boy.
I will be taking him to the vet as soon as i can but my financial situation is a little rough at the moment and i dont know any affordable vets.
Thanks or the advice!

Help. She is spreading feces from her litter box

by Gen
(Pittsburgh)

Sammie came from Humane Society last week. She is 3 years old and is being treated for a respiratory infection. She is spreading feces all over bathroom where we confine her for short periods after she has eaten until she goes to the bathroom. We dont treat it as punishment and have tried a few different types of litter. She has urinated on the bedding several times. We are at a loss. Will try helpful tip of citrus oil on bed. Major concern is her spreading her feces.

How long does it take for their eyes to change?

I have two Siamese mixed kittens and ones eyes are a light brown and the others are extremely light green...they're four 1/2 months old. Are their eyes going to stay the same color they are now? The pictures I have don't show well.

Why can't he get along?

We have a 6 year old Siamese, a 5 year old Himalayan and a 6 month old Snow Shoe kitten. Sammy our oldest just will not be nice to the kitten. Our himmie made friends quickly with the kitten and they get along fine but Sammie just growls and hisses, spits and makes awful Siamese noises as soon as the kitten gets anywhere near him. At times the kitten will lick his head and Sammy will lick the kitten's but most of the time Sammy is just a pain in the butt. Sam has also turned against our other cat and our other cat has been fighting with Sam too.

To be fair the kitten does like to try to play rough with Sammy (the former King of Rough House). It's all so hard to understand. Sammy had no problem accepting our other cat when we got him as a kitten.

The kitten was "fixed" this week, we are hoping that will help.

I'm about ready to trade them all in for a nice bird.
