Grey Sticky Stool!

Hi, I recently rescued a siamese kitten. He is only about 8-10 weeks old. He was extremely thin, and probably malnourished. His stool is a dark gray color, and feels like clay. I am thinking that he was probably eating litter or something. I have been feeding him homemade cat food and he now is using natural cat litter. He still is pooping dark gray though. Is there any suggestions on medication, enemas, etc etc that i can do? I have been feeding him natural pumpkin (since that gives him fiber & softens the stool). He is very playful, and alert. He doesnt know he is sick, and he has a big appetite I just dont want him to die or anything. He's my baby boy.

I will be taking him to the vet as soon as i can but my financial situation is a little rough at the moment and i dont know any affordable vets.
Thanks or the advice!

Hi there,

If he's eating he is probably ok, but a vet will need to outrule any infection or parasites, worms etc. It would not be any harm to buy a worming tablet as if he were neglected while he was young, he could possibly have parasites. Many Siamese cats are very skinny when they are young, that is the breed, so don't worry about him being thin.

Hope this helps.
