Lynx Point Twins (cont).

by my2wins

More pictures of the once-ferral kittens who we've happily adopted right before Christmas. Would value any input on whether they are looking like they have Siamese in them or not.

(These are the same kittens I wrote about a month ago, and as they are now growing older, I'm adding more pictures and asking for any additional input).

If I didn't know any better, i would think they were puppies, the way the bound around the house chasing each other and the human kids in the house.

At this point I wouldn't care if they were Siamese, Burmese, Tonkinese or even Sasquatch! I love them dearly and remain curious about their possible heritage.

Hope these pictures help, as their baby pictures seemed to disguise what seems to me as their very siamesey little faces.

Thanks much!

My cat Luna looks identical to your twins. Recently had her spayed and the vets office listed her as a Siamese mix color lilac point.

CONGRATULATIONS! One of my beloved cats is like yours, and definetely they are a variant of siamese. His brother, who passed away three months ago, was very much like a regular siamese, but both of my babies have white shoes. Definitely these angels have dog-like temperament and they are very sociable, they like to cuddle and lap each other. When my cat's brother died, I adopted a baby persian cat and, guess what? my lynx siamese cat adopted it immediately. Definitely they are great company and after my beloved cat died, I try to enjoy every minute I can be with them.

I have the same exact cat. They're a breed of Manx mixed with grey American tabby. I met my cat's mother and she was grey tabby.

Lynx Point Siamese!
by: Kimeowberly

Adorable! Love them! I have one about the same age. She's definitely a lynx point Siamese. I don't think they're Burmese, because the Burmese have yellow eyes. They're definitely the spitting image of a lynx point.

Hope you're enjoying your twins!! What a great, fun, intelligent breed of cats!

You kittens are so cute. They do look so alike. How can do you tell them apart and what did you call them :)

Your Babies do look a lot like Lynx Point Siamese. We had a rescue years ago that was a Lynx Point Siamese that we called Six Pence because he had extra toes on all his paws. What are your Babies names? They are adorable and I can't believe they were feral Kittens.

Lots of luck with them and I'm so glad they now have a Forever Home.

Tell me More!
by: my2wins

thank you for the comments, I am happy to hear from others.

Beatrice, I have spent time researching Burmese, and at first I was quite opposed to a new school of thought, but the more time has passed, the more my mind has been opened. :} I embrace the idea, and realize now that no matter what they are, they are wonderful.

Can you tell me what is it that makes them look Burmese to you?

I have gotten conflicting info. Some sites have said Burmese have gold or green eyes only. Others look very round eyed compared to mine.

I'm very curious to hear more of your thoughts and obviously you have experience in this department. (I'd never heard the word "Burmese" until your reply to my first post.)

Thank you for any additional info.

Lynx Point Twins.
by: Beatrice

Hi there,

They are lovely. I still maintain that there is Burmese there with some lynx. I think that they have typical Burmese faces ( Lilac Burmese) and their temperament seems very Burmese, so sociable and inteligent. They will make great pets.

Kind regards,

I would definitely say they are Siamese Lynx Points. They look just like mine! Very cute! Don't be surprised if they start playing "fetch" just like a dog too!!! All 3 of my Siamese cats do!
