Point?

I asked some time ago about my cats point color - blue or lilac - I tried to respond to that original query but it didn’t have a pic option so - anyway you felt biscuit was a blue point and he came to me as a lilac point - I seriously think I’m crazy this matters to me but here he months later - still blue? I love that color so I have absolutely no stake in this just want to know my adorable cat! Thank you! :)

Wow
by: Elizabeth

Wow that’s terrible though being in Florida it’s not much better. I’m formerly a first grade school teacher back getting my PhD at UF focusing on building EcoJustice curricula. So we’re natural allies I bet! So sorry and I hope you didn’t get ill. I just got my second vaccine snd lucked out as I have been teaching online for the University the last three semesters. Biscuit is learning his meow - I called tuna treat time his speech therapy ha - he sounds like a squeaky toy or a bird chirping not like my last cat a seal point who never stopped growly yowling - drove my husband mad and so it’s too bad biscuit has been so unobnoxious - I am hoping he will learn :) - I think being feral the first 10 or so weeks he learned early to keep quiet. He seems to be getting the hang of it though! Especially around food! He came with a pink belly got tested for ringworm and is free and clear now but at 8 months he’s 7.7 pounds. Hoping that’s not overweight. My last boy was part rag doll and really could put on weight over nothing. Biscuit is pretty crazy active though so hoping I can avoid that with him. :)

Siamese cats are so smart NEW
by: Lynn

They are considered one of the smartest cats in the world. The Abyssinian being first, and Siamese second. Their shenanigans can be very amusing. Is he very vocal? Vocalization is one of the main Siamese traits but I have heard of some quieter ones. He really is a beautiful boy... looks like he has a little ponch tummy, lol.

So are you a teacher? I am too. Science. I live in the south... Missouri and our schools stayed open all year. We were out a week due to so many students having covid. Our whole boy's basketball team got exposed then almost every 11, and 12 grades had to be quarantined, I am so glad it's over.

Yay! NEW
by: Elizabeth

Lynn,
Thank you so much for confirming! He is the cutest most hilarious cat - he steals things like stalks of asparagus from the disposal sausages off the counter bottle caps etc - runs around with things in his mouth all the time and hides them. He has stopped trying to kick up imaginary dirt on his unfinished food. Crazy playful and I’m just happy I’ve taught online this last semester so I could really be with him. He was caught by a sheriff in Orlando FL in a squirrel trap when they noticed him pouncing around the forest behind their office. They don’t think his siblings made it given the cost color (hawks etc). Definitely will not entertain going outside on the porch with me, is scared to death of strangers, but happy as a clam outside of those two propositions. He really is gorgeous and the tail on him!!! Totally ringed like a raccoon. :)
Thanks again for your response!

When they are kittens, it very difficult to distinguish the different points. They are all born white. Seal Points are the easiest because they are the darkest. Also as they start to get their points Lilac and Blue are very hard to tell apart, because they are so light. So yes, he is definitely a Blue Point and is such a gorgeous boy.
