I have a brother and sister and they are great together and great with my kids.We became a forever family 5 months ago.I also got both fixed when they were old enough.I did not experience spaying. One is a chocolate and we think one is a blue or violet Siamese. Both gorgeous and fantastic personalities.

Two cats

Are you thinking about adopting kittens?

If you adopt kittens especially siblings than it shouldn't matter on the sex, they will grow up together and bond.

Now I have had experience with having more than one female in the house. My Siamese is a female, and she really despises the other female cats. The male cats always seem to get along better than the females.

If you adopt males getting them neutered should solve the problem of them spraying.

If you do have a choice I would either go with a male or female, or two males.

But I am sure that you will be happy with what what ever you decide to get.

Keep us posted on what you decide.
