Draco

by Samantha
(Motana)

I've had Draco since he was 8 weeks old, he is now 4 years old with a personality like no other. He's moved with me across country from Arizona to Delaware to Montana. I got married a year ago and he has claimed my husband as his human. He's every where and loves to watch movies with us. He sleeps between us in bed purring loudly and stretched out. And knows that every other day it is wet food day, he will talk and talk from the moment you walk in at the end of the day, until you place his food out.

Gianna, the 4lb queen

by Lauren
(Philadelphia, PA)

Gigi, 10 weeks old

Gianna is a lot of personality in a small package. Many people say siamese meow often. Gianna on the other hand only speaks if locked in a room alone or when she wants something. She can have a conversation but knows that her meows are more powerful less frequently. She is currently 5 1/2 months old and is about 4.5 lbs. but that doesn't stop her from bossing around her roommates 15 lb cat, panda. She owns him and he knows it.

Gianna was spayed the other day, ripped her cone off within 5 minutes of being let out of her cage and acted like she hadn't had surgery. I was concerned that she would resent me for putting her through pain. That was not at all the case. If I'm around her, she's on my lap, chest or anywhere that involves touching me.

When you look up "diva" in the dictionary, a photo of Gianna should be there. She has two sweaters which she loves to wear and show off to visitors. She captivates everyone's heart that visits. People that hate cats, love her.

I was always skeptical of getting a cat because I am used to living with a dog. I'm a siamese believer now. Gigi has brought more joy to my life than I can express.

Ms.Strechy

We got Venus when she was about 3 months, so she is doesn't hiss at us. We never taught her tricks just the basic litter user. So, one day when I woke up I didn't find her in her usual spot, the couch. So, I decided to check upstairs and I went in my brother's room and saw her stretching her paws and then covering up her eyes with her paws. Is that weird or not?!

Molly

Begging to go outside, as usual. <3
Me and Moll
Molly's pretty blue eyes.
Moll helping me wrap presents.

We had just moved into our new home, and I was about 4 or 5 years old. My mother's father called us one day and asked if we would like to come and look at this cat some lady dropped off with him. Molly was a stray, born on the streets. A woman found her and took her in, at a pretty young age about of about 1, and for some reason dropped her off with my mom's dad. When we got to the house, what we saw coming up the stairs was a gorgeous short-haired apple head Siamese.
My mom knew right away she was going to be ours and we took her home. When we took her to the vet, probably for the first time in her life, the poor thing was pregnant and full of worms. We got her sorted out right away, happy and healthy. Moll fit into our family perfectly, she was quiet and calm, always happy so unlike the typical Siamese except when she wants something, my gosh its rare but that cat can meow legitimately for HOURS at 3 in the morning. This usually is because she wants to go outside. We let her outside sometimes because it is her favorite place to be and even though we have a tall fenced yard, Molly, who is 14 now, can scale it no problem in one leaping bound so she has to be supervised. She knows when we aren't paying attention and will occasionally escape and go on a 5 hour adventure whilst we frantically search for her. She ALWAYS comes back home and has never crossed the road. We have yet to find out exactly what she does on these lengthy excursions.

When we went on vacation and Moll was around 2 or 3 and was still the only cat in the house, she would get lonely and tear the house apart. Once we even came home to a destroyed loaf of bread all over the living room carpet. How she even got the bread-box open is still a mystery. After this happening a couple times, we decided that she need a friend. Molly, being such a good-natured cat, we assumed that all Siamese were that way. We were wrong. And in 2001 we brought a little baby Seal-Point Siamese home, named Thomasina. Sina is very skittish, and VERY talkative. She spends most of her time in my Mom's closet, but is quite affectionate when conditions are calm. She won't go NEAR the outside world unlike Moll who is obsessed. She is a great hunter, you will not find one mouse in this house, she even makes a game out of scaring the dog. Molly on the other hand would not hurt a fly and even sometimes lays with our beagle. Taking home another kitty successfully stopped Moll from destroying the house, they aren't the best of friends being so different, but get along well enough to save our bread.
I am 17 now and I love both of my kitties' opposite personalities but Molly is special to me because I can't remember ever being without her, and I am her favorite person in the family. I am so glad someone decided to rescue her from the streets. It sounds silly but she really is always there for me she has that sense some cats have and will literally seek you out if she hears you crying and console you.
Right now she is purring beside me on the couch, and Thomasina? You guessed it, hiding in the closet.

3 GREAT CATS THATS THAT.

by Rod
(Bloomington, il)

Hi, I have 3 cats, they aren't siamese, but I wish they were. They are good and sleep on my bed. 2 pure white and 1 black, or very dark brown in the right lighting. 1 has a birthday 12/24. he is 1 in less than an hour. They like Diamond cat food, and running water the best. Sometimes they drink out of the stool, Because its cold water. we dont mind it much, so we leave the lid open and no cleaners other than things like vinegar. 2 white cats like baths sometimes, and even get in my bath and love the warmth. Our Black cat does not like bath at all. They are all fixed boys and 1 was rescued at the pound, 1 as a abandoned kitten and the 1 year old was a farm cat and he stunk his litter was all white males, 8 altogether, that is strange. and they all are very warm, social brothers now. we cant get more but I wish for a wedge head siamese, but maybe later. reminds me of my childhood neighbor. that was a mean cat, but not to me. Well, thanks for reading, just pretend my cats are siamese.

Sash and Ash Siamese Brothers

by Suzanne
(Fort Mill, SC, USA)

Ash and Sasha

Ash and Sasha

Ash and Sasha
Taking a Nap
Ash showing his belly
Ash and Sash playing on ladder

It all started when these two came home to me at 10 weeks old. They were so cute playing with each other all day long. It was such a joy being their human mom and raising them from when they were babies. It really resembles like raising human babies. They would both need to be held up on my neck area to sleep. They would love to be patted on back and rocked to sleep. Ash even got to the point he was sucking on me like he was nursing. But now they are over two years old and have slowed down quite a bit from playing with each other and being curious of their environment. I read on here that they were talking about how they growl when they get spooked by the doorbell etc. My Sasha just started doing this. I have own always female Siamese cats from rescue places because of someone moved or could not deal with the biting issues etc. I never had the pleasure of raising them from babies. I am so glad I got the chance to be able to raise babies. I just love them to death. They sleep with me, eat with me and they follow me ever where. I even took Ash to the mail box to pickup my mail and he tolerated it but I decided to always leave him home because he found out it is much safer at home and less stress for him. I have been a Siamese mom for over twenty years. I inherited it from my aunt who got me started on loving these beautiful animals.

Mixed Siamese w/ a "character spot"

by Lorinda
(Washington State)

Just wanted to share a picture of a kitty of ours,Shiloh, she is a mixed Siamese, about to be a year old. Shiloh has what I call a "character spot", a patch of white fur on her lip, looks like she got into some milk. Accompanied by white boots, and white chest fur, she makes a very gorgeous kitty :)
