I'm really confused because the place where my uncle adopted her it said "White Choco-point" but after seeing the Lilac Points I beginning to have doubts. She's 6mos.
On the pic you can see that her face markings are different from others! her paws have different colors and her tail is striped, her hind legs have dark markings/fur but not the entire leg and her lower body near her tail have this slight/fainted mocha color. Oh yeah, her ears are dark brown.
I have an almost 14 year old Siamese who was losing weight & was diagnosed as being hyperthyroid. He's on medication & has had regular bloodwork done by a vet, so that's currently under control. His coat has gotten lighter as he lost weight, probably due to a slight temp drop as he had less fat to keep him warm. However, now we're noticing that one side of his face (where the whiskers emerge) is turning white. The same thing appears to be starting right around his eyes & at the base of his tail, altho not as pronounced as near his whiskers. I've never noticed this in our previous Siamese cats. Is it due to age, or might it indicate another health problem? He's a seal point, so the loss of color is readily apparent.
I have noticed a small difference in names of breed colours since becoming a devotee of this site... When I look at pictures of what U.S people call lilac point it looks very similar to what we call blue point in Australia. Is this the case? is it same breed with different name? Or same colouring but different bone structure..... mmmmkkkkkkllllllllllllllllllllllll;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ;;/////////;/////////.................;;;;;;;;;;;;;/
hahahaha thats what happens when you leave the laptop unattended for a toilet break....squire pudda strikes again!!
I just got this kitten who is suppose to be around 12 weeks old. I'm wondering if this is a Siamese kitten if so what type is it. It does have blue eyes also. I had to take 3 photo's because the kitten would not stay still. Any information will help out a lot. Thanks
